Uganda Loves Soccer
Soccer is the national sport of Uganda and we love it. We have a national team, The Cranes, we have professional leagues, club leagues, and school leagues.
Scholarships for soccer players is one of the few opportunities for Ugandan's who can't afford school to get an education.
Terra Nova Loves Soccer
Abdul Seruyange loves soccer. A soccer scholarship was the only way he was able to get his education.
He believes the beautiful game not only paid for him to go to school be developed the character he need to succeed.
Coaching soccer lead to his job as the Athletic Director of Christopher House, a Christian Children's Organization, where he met his future wife.
His coaching has lead to 39 kids earning scholarships to pay for their educations.
Soccer is teaching the students of Terra Nova the character they need to succeed in and out of the classroom
The Terra Nova Soccer Academy is teaching those same lessons of character to kids who are not in Terra Nova's school.
Terra Nova Soccer Academy's club team is helping players earn roster spots on professional teams.
Terra Nova Club Team players are finding jobs as soccer coaches.
You Love Soccer
Soccer is building better lives in Kampala. If you love the game and would like to be a part of what we are doing, consider these ideas:
Donate monthly to the Terra Nova Soccer Academy. In 2017, the program has been paid for with $1200 and coaching fees paid by participants. Donations, no matter how small, greatly increase the capacity of the Soccer Academy.
Donate equipment! Hundreds of kids playing soccer for hours a day, every day, puts a lot of wear and tear on balls, nets, and cleats. Have your team round up the equipment and we will wear it out.
Special Donations. If donating monthly doesn't fit you, but you would like to make one time donations we will stretch those dollars a lot further than you can imagine.
